Review

TurboCAD Deluxe is great for CAD Drawing. Like BricsCAD, this program requires less graphic card resources to run compared to AutoCAD. It means that the interface is quite fast but not very much user friendly. It doesn’t hang as much as AutoCAD. But the minimum requirements are P4, 512 Ram, etc.

We can work in both 2D and 3D modes. That is, 3D is not only available in the rendering mode, but can be directly edited, although it requires a more powerful graphic card. Well, all the CAD programs should be evaluated by comparing them to AutoCAD, which is the best among CAD applications.

About the features, it has quite a lot of sections including the face-to-face loft function, geometric alignment aids, etc. This program is mainly targeted at beginners of CAD design. It is quite easy to learn and use. However, it lacks a lot of advanced features, which could be found in AutoCAD.

The program uses LightWorks rendering engine which boasts more realistic and easier visualizations. Yes, the rendering is quite good.

There are different versions of the program like the 'architectural' or 'mechanical' versions , which provide more tools for the specific tasks. The main thing is the reasonable price, compared to other CAD programs, especially AutoCAD.

The latest version of the program is 16, but the present review and screenshots apply to version 14.
Advantages
  • Easy to learn and use.
  • Needs less graphic card resources.
  • Fair Pricing.
Disadvantages
  • Less features.
